Have a thumpin' good time with this Ovation Typhoon from 1968!

We love a hollowbody bass here at Replay Guitars, and this example does not disappoint. Introduced in the late 1960s, the Ovation Typhoon was almost a cross collaboration, with Ovation having the bodies and electronics made in Germany by Hofner, with the rest of the construction taking place in the US. This particular example dates to 1968, and besides a replacement set of Gotoh tuners, appears to be original. This particular example has beautifully pronounced checking on the top, otherwise is in reasonable condition for its age.

Currently strung up with nylon tape wound strings, this bass absolutely delivers the low-mid thump you'd expect from a great hollowbody bass. 

Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a medium action. Includes a hard case.
