1970s Fernandes FST-50 White
Another killer late '70s Fernandes rolling through the showroom!
Featuring the stone logo typically found on examples manufactured from 1978 to 1979, this example like many others captures the design and feel of late '70s Fender examples. Featuring a three-piece Sen body in combination with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard, this example has had a handful of modifications made throughout its life. Of note, the following components have been replaced: pickguard, high E string tuner, bridge pickup, string trees, whilst a tremolo arm and backplate are missing from this example. Regardless, a great player with an excellent feeling neck and some serious vintage mojo.Ā
Cosmetic condition is okay for its age with dings and scuffing present to the body. There is the outline of previous stickers on the back of the body. There is some finish chipping and a split line by neck join, however is completely stable and without issue. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes a vinyl gig bag.Ā
