1978 Greco RB-700 Sunburst
A fun lawsuit era copy of a certain '4003' model!
The late '70s was a particularly noteworthy period for Greco, in which their replication of original vintage examples became a lot more accurate, and angered a variety of US brands. This particular example is a '4003' style finished in a period accurate sunburst. This one features a neck-through body construction, and is surprisingly light. Triangle inlays are present, as are the original pickups (albeit the bridge missing its cover). This example has also recently had a service with us, and is playing beautifully.
Cosmetic condition is reasonable for its age, with some noteworthy dings found on the back edge of the body, back of the neck, as well as on the bass and treble side of the headstock. Hardware is fully functional, and plays beautifully with a nice, low action. No case included.Ā
