Combining a digital delay and sampler, the DSD-2 from Boss was quite a revolutionary stomp box for its time. The delay section features two modes: L and S, with varying delay rates from 50ms all the way to 800ms. Shares a similar architecture to that of the infamous DD-2. The sample mode is fun, even though it's quite short at 0.8 seconds. Great if you want to grab a chord for a drone and then play against it with the footswitch pressed down.Ā
