2000s Danelectro DC59 Burgundy Metallic
The definitive Danelectro electric, in quite a unique colour!
This example appears to date to sometime around the 2000s to 2010s, and was manufactured in China. Boasting a rich, matte burgundy metallic finish, the DC59 is without a doubt one of the definite models from this manufacturer. Boasting a simple volume and tone control, dual lipstick pickups, and that signature hollow plywood body, the DC59 is outrageously fun to play and has a sound all its own.Ā
Cosmetic condition is good with most wear localised on the back of the instrument. There are some small minor dings at the top of the headstock, and a couple spots of discolouration to the tolex side wrap. A replacement tone pot has been added. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low action. Includes a gig bag.Ā
