One of the true classics within the effects pedal pantheon, the Rat has seen numerous revisions and adaptations throughout the years whilst retaining that signature 'Rat' sound. This particular example is a reissue of the famed 'Big Box' model, specifically the 1981 version 2 'filter control' model. This particular example features the OP07 chip, which places it sometime in the early 2000s whilst production was still occurring in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Sounds nasty and makes a serious statement on any pedalboard.Ā
Cosmetic condition is good, with only minor enclosure wear present. Hardware and electronics are fully functional. No box included.Ā
