Steinberger Spirit GT-PRO Deluxe Hot Rod Red (Second-Hand)
The future is now, with this great example from Steinberger!
Steinberger was founded in 1979, and has been anything but an ordinary guitar manufacturer. Ned Steinbergers design was (and still is) revolutionary for its unique approach to the issue of making a more travel-friendly guitar. Featuring a basswood body and three-piece maple neck, the Steinberger Spirit also boasts patented 40:1 Ratio Direct Pull tuning as well as the locking R-Trem system. If you haven't noticed yet by looking at the photos, these don't have a headstock! Although unusual as a concept, it cuts down on the overall bulk and makes the instrument a lot more portable. Featuring a SlimTaper 'D' neck profile and a 14" fretboard radius, this is just about as modern as guitars get.Ā
Cosmetic condition is good with very minor scratching and swirl marks present. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes the original gig bag.Ā
